When 17 girls at Gloucester High School all turned up pregnant at the same time, the initial story was that they had entered into a pact to have and raise their babies at the same time.
That story was later denied by some of the girls, and by the mayor of Gloucester, MA (although how would he know?), but the school board has decided to allow the school's health clinic to distribute contraceptives with parental consent.
