Karl Rove thinks Barack Obama is a great guy: charismatic, articulate, strong.

Only one little problem with Obama, according to The Architect.

"He's charismatic, he's articulate, he's a very strong figure on the national stage," White House political adviser Karl Rove told an Arkansas crowd. "But something tells me that people are going to say (they want) experience and depth. As a result it's going to be, 'Can he live up to the standards?"'

Experience and depth?

As compared to who, Karl? The current occupant of the White House, or somebody else?

Obama; FOX

Robert Greenwald's Brave New Films calls attention to what appears to be a concerted effort on the part of Fox "News" Channel to smear Barack Obama.

On the Huffington Post, Greenwald articulates his reasons for making this video.

If you are thinking, 'why bother? Who cares? No one believes or listens to what FOX says,' I have two words for you -- Swift Boat. Keeping the Swift Boaters alive was FOX's main contribution to the 2004 elections. FOX's bias does not just reach those who knowingly tune in to the likes of Bill O'Reilly and Sean Hannity. Other media become influenced by and pick up stories from FOX. Thus, the bias spreads like a cancer -- destroying honest news coverage.

Greenwald says Fox "News" must not be allowed to continue to pretend that it is a legitimate source of news.

Condi hearts Obama

Wow. Considering the source, and for whom she works, this is eye-opening.

Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice, speaking on Fox "News" Sunday, says she likes Barack Obama.

Rice noted that Obama is a member of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, where the secretary often testifies.

"I think he's very appealing and a great person. He's on my committee. And we've always had good exchanges. I think he's an extraordinary person," she said.

Rice declined to say whether she thought he had enough experience, especially in foreign policy, to be president.

"Oh, I'm not going to make that choice. The American people are going to make that choice," she said.

He's drawing huge crowds all over the country, and now he's even thawing the heart of the ice princess. Go 'Bama, it's your birthday...
