Rebecca Martin - 'The Growing Season'

Singer Rebecca Martin is streaming three new songs from her forthcoming album, The Growing Season, which is scheduled for release this summer.

Rebecca is one of my favorite artists. She came to my attention for the first time in the mid-90s as lead singer for the duo Once Blue. Her partner was Jesse Harris, who went on to produce the ultra, mega, gi-freaking-normous hit Don't Know Why for Norah Jones.

The Growing Season will be Rebecca's fourth solo album since 1999. Yeah, she doesn't exactly crank them out. But if the preview tracks are any indication, this one will be worth the wait.
