Bahama? Mohama? Obama!

Ohhh, the ignorance. The ignorance!

[Via C&L]

    "Bahama?"

    "Mohama?"

    "Bahama?"

    "No, no..."

    "Uh... Obama!"

    "Obama, yeah."

"Obama - he made the comment that he asked if he got president, could he be sworn in on the Koran, and not the Bible. Now, this country was founded on the Bible, and every president before has used it, so why should we let somebody else use their faith, and not OUR faith?"
Your Republican Party base, folks. Gotta love 'em.

I'm guessing these dear ladies weren't the ones who told Barack that they support him, even they're in the GOP.

Seems to me that if you're going to declare somebody unfit to serve based on his faith, you should at least get his name and his faith correct. But then I'm kind of weird that way.

Salami... salami... BALONEY!

The "Obama is a muslim" rumor just refuses to die. Ive tried to debate some believers in it before - they were immovable. Even when I found reliable quotes where he said he is a christian, they just said that Islam allows muslims to lie about their religion if that helps to advance it in world domination.

I got them to explain their argument too. It was, roughly, "Well, his grandmother was a muslim, and the children of muslims are always muslims for life because they kill anyone who tries to convert."

It's astonishing how little the average person knows about politics.

Wow.
