"Very Unpopular"

CNN's Bill Scheider speaks a simple truth.

Bush is very unpopular. Conservatives want to make the point that it's not because he's a conservative. Instead, they say, it's because his administration has wandered away from conservative principles.

In fact, it's neither. Bush is unpopular because he has done a terrible job of governing this country domestically, and has made a horrible mess of our international policy, including dragging us into an illegal and unnecessary war which he proceeded to botch as badly as anybody possibly could.
