I just saw a commercial for Purina Cat Chow that features a shot of four varieties of the popular cat food. On each bag, there is a photo of a happy person snuggling a cat. Each one of those happy people is a woman.
Why is Purina excluding men from its marketing imagery for cat food? Perhaps most cat-owners are women, but this product isn't as gender-exclusive as tampons, is it? Men buy cat food, don't they?

Real men don't feed their cats?
