A surveillance program approved by President Bush to conduct eavesdropping without warrants has captured what are purely domestic communications in some cases, despite a requirement by the White House that one end of the intercepted conversations take place on foreign soil, officials say.Well, of course they intercepted a number of "purely domestic communications." Bush said they hadn't done any such thing. What could that have meant except the precise opposite of what he said? With this president, you have to assume that the first, second and, often, third answers are lies.
Last night I expressed the wish that some conscientious whistle-blower would just open the floodgates on this mess and get it all over with. Leak the list, already! We know who is on it: Howard Dean; John Kerry; Bill Keller; Dana Priest; Michael Moore; Etc, etc, etc.
Now, I'm thinking Bush should just take a deep breath and release the list himself. Rip the bandage off, so to speak. Anything would be better than the death-by-inches we are witnessing now.

Bush will lie and cheat as long as he can. He has the Family's intere$t$ to keep mind of. If he names names, he will implicate many of HIS people and family. How long would he survive in San Quentin do you think?
