This is the first installment of an occasional series to introduce you to things on the Internet that I really like.

One of my favorite things is "Audiofile," a new/old feature on Salon. It is a daily blog that evolved from the weekly series "Wednesday Morning Download."

Thomas Bartlett surveys and reviews new music and makes his favorite selections available for free download in most cases. When he doesn't have free songs to upload, he provides a link to where they can be purchased from iTunes.
