Barbara Daniels poses with a three-piece summer squash and large cucumber, each weighing more than two pounds. The vegetables were grown by Charlie Tilmon on Andrew Street in Many, and were brought into The Sabine Index by Mrs. Tilmon and their neighbor, Daniels.

“We haven’t seen a squash like this before,” stated Mrs. Tilmon.

“Three individual squash grew together to form one.

We just thought it was very interesting and cute, and the cucumber is the biggest we have ever grown. We aren’t going to eat them, just place them on the counter to admire.”

Yes, well. Those are some interesting vegetables. Mm hmm. Yes, indeed.
