The Debate - Condescension

McCain is obviously trying to demean Obama with condescending phrases like, "he doesn't understand..." In fact, he's doing it so much it's becoming a verbal tic. It is clearly a part of his debate strategy.

Maybe it will work with some voters who have doubts about Obama's youth and experience, but a little bit of that goes a long way, and McCain is overdoing it. It makes him sound like a crotchety old-timer.
