Hillary came tonight to stick a knife in John McCain's stomach.

She also came to make it clear to her supporters that any talk of supporting McSame is craziness. Only the most churlish observer would demand more of her than she gave this evening.

And I have to say, if the Hillary who delivered that speech tonight had showed up on the campaign trail this year, she would be the one accepting her party's nomination on Thursday.
