Warner, '08?

The Republican slurs practically write themselves.

Mark Warner has, in fact, been rethinking his decision to leave the Presidential race for several weeks now. Warner's going to wait and see how this race plays out -- does Obama enter the race and can he keep momentum if he does? Does John Edwards keep his Iowa lead? Does Vilsack have any impact? Does Gore get in?

For now, Warner remains out ... but he has the apparatus in place (the Forward Together PAC hasn't gone anywhere) and the ability to raise funds quickly.

He was against running for president before he was for it!

Who will be the first to say it on the tee-vee? Matthews? Carlson? Noron?
