Bush/Abramoff Photos - For real, though

The president is silent about his relationship with Pioneer Jack Abramoff, who raised more than $100 thousand in campaign funds for Bush. Scott McClellan says, to neither his nor Bush's memories, have the two men ever met. Uh, oh.

Time has the scoop of scoops:

The President's memory may soon be unhappily refreshed. TIME has seen five photographs of Abramoff and the President that suggest a level of contact between them that Bush's aides have downplayed. While TIME's source refused to provide the pictures for publication, they are likely to see the light of day eventually because celebrity tabloids are on the prowl for them. And that has been a fear of the Bush team's for the past several months: that a picture of the President with the admitted felon could become the iconic image of direct presidential involvement in a burgeoning corruption scandal like the shots of President Bill Clinton at White House coffees for campaign contributors in the mid-1990s.
Why they feel the need to mention the Clinton coffees in the same breath as this genuine moral and political scandal, I have no idea. But, the point is, this president and his lickspittle mouthpiece have been caught in yet another lie.

Can't wait to see li'l Scotty tap dancing around this one Monday.

Q: Scott, are why are you such a lying piece of crap?

A: If you have questions relating to a specific photo that you can describe in precise detail, then I'll be happy to look into it. Otherwise, we're not going to engage in speculation about alleged photos of an alleged meeting between the president and the alleged Jack Abramoff.
Should be fun.
