UncommonSense - The liberal blogosphere?

UncommonSense became synonymous with the "'liberal' blogosphere" over the weekend, according to some right-wing blogger that I have never heard of. The blog, which takes as its mandate the job of "monitoring" Air America Radio, includes a link to this site in a post dismissing our analysis of a New York Times article about AAR.

The deck chairs are NOT being shuffled on HMCS Air America

Marc Maron is not - I repeat - NOT on his way out on Air America. Unfortunately, the "liberal" blogosphere is all a-twitter [this "a-twitter" is the link to UncommonSense - ed.] about the NYT story about Randi Rhodes and Rachel Maddow which included this:

The network is expected to announce imminently a move by Ms. Maddow into a more prominent morning drive-time role.
Neither Maron nor Jerry Springer have anything to fear. Rumors of Marc Maron being fired are just a practical joke designed to prop up AAR's sagging ratings. I'm almost 99% sure of that, and you liberals shouldn't worry about things like this.
I'm flattered by the elevation in status, but in all modesty I must protest. UncommonSense averages fewer than 100 readers per day, my right-wing friend. We are, at best, a sparsely-populated and rarely visited outpost of the liberal blogosphere.

That having been said, I do hope you are correct about Maron's contract troubles being nothing but a publicity stunt. However, you ignore the central point of my analysis, which is built around the statement that AAR is seeking a prominent, drive-time role for Rachel Maddow. If this is correct, then there are few options available to them.

The first option involves Ms. Maddow joining or taking one of the seats on "Morning Sedition," the show currently occupying AAR's morning drive-time slot. The other involves creating a show for Ms. Maddow which would replace "Morning Sedition." If you have a substantive response to my thesis, I look forward to reading it.
