Limbaugh: "My mistress in Georgia..."

In fact, I got a note from my mistress in Georgia this morning, who was watching the speech. She said, "This is great. This sounds like you wrote this speech. This sounds like you giving this speech."

This is cringe-inducing. His "mistress?" What does that even mean?

Does anybody know anyone who talks like this? More to the point, does anybody know a heterosexual man involved in a real relationship with a woman he respects who would refer to her this way in front of people, to say nothing of doing so on a national broadcast?

UH-huh. The first time I heard about this, my first thought was "gee, this reminds me of Tom Cruise pawing Katie Holmes on national TV." The vibe is very much "look at me look at me see I'm straight really honest!"
