Most everyone who has handled the iPod nano likes it. The reviews are overwhelmingly, though by no means universally, positive.
But, this sentence from David Pogue's review in the Times got my attention:
The Nano does have a standard iPod docking connector, however, so you can still use iPod speakers, chargers and some FM-radio car transmitters. Why do iPod owners still have to improvise and accentuate their 'Pods in order to play them in the car? Isn't it time for someone to just build a car stereo with a docking slot for the iPod? Is this such a hard thing to do? Has nobody thought of this?

The MINI Cooper's got it as an option.
