Traitorgate - Fitzgerald Casting a Wide Net

The Washington Post reports:

Prosecutors have questioned former CIA director George J. Tenet and deputy director John E. McLaughlin, former CIA spokesman Bill Harlow, State Department officials, and even a stranger who approached columnist Robert D. Novak on the street.
Wow. That is a wide net.

Can you imagine?

There you are one day just minding your own business and you see Bob Novak hobbling down the street.

"Hey, Novak," you say. "You're an overrated GOP hack and you're helping George W. Bush destroy America."

And, for that, you get hauled before a federal grand jury. Heh.

Obviously, there is much more to it than that, but it's fun to imagine. Go read the whole story.
