FOX - A Model of Restraint?

We have stumbled into a semblance of the world we once knew. We live now in an age in which a FOX television executive can make a statement such as what follows and have it be the truth!

From the New York Times:

For the first time in its history, fueled by the success of "Idol" and broadcasts of the Super Bowl and last fall's baseball playoffs and World Series, Fox will finish the season as the top-rated network among those aged 18 to 49, the category most desired by advertisers.

"We believe in practicing restraint," and not overplaying the network's hits, Mr. Liguori said. He cited NBC, which plans to televise two versions of "The Apprentice" next fall, for employing an opposite policy (emphasis added).
What are you going to say to the man? That he's a liar?
