Maybe No Hockey Season

From the AP:

The NHL won't start next season on time if a new collective bargaining agreement hasn't been reached with the players' association.

Commissioner Gary Bettman said Wednesday he is committed to playing hockey in the fall, but a deal must be in place before then.

"We will continue to plan for the start of next season with an on-time opening in October, that is where our efforts will be," Bettman said after a four-hour meeting with the league's board of governors. "If we do not have a new collective bargaining agreement, we will not open the season on time.
Oh, no! Oh, wait... who cares? There was no hockey this year. Did anybody even notice?
