Hunger strike, huh?

Saddam Hussein has, just in the nick of time, ended the hunger strike he began to protest the murder of his lawyer.

The former Iraqi leader had refused lunch on Thursday in protest at the killing of one of his lawyers by gunmen, but the spokesman said he ate his evening meal.

Sources say Saddam will skip his mid-day snack tomorrow to protest the disappearance of the natural habitat of the three-toed sloth, due to logging.
